At Sandhills Energy, Jake channels his expertise into third-party-owned asset management and the cultivation of strategic industry relationships. His adept networking has solidified connections with major national renewable finance companies, tax equity partners, and manufacturers.

Prior to Sandhills, Jake strategized for a national distributor within the solar industry. His efforts aided developers and EPCs in establishing their own solar division. This led him to Blue Sky Solar, where Jake leveraged his experience to expand the company’s regional presence. Starting in sales and development, he collaborated with Raki Giannakouros, Executive Vice President at Sandhills Energy, on Blue Sky Solar projects, setting the stage for a successful merger.

Jake earned his Bachelor of Arts from Augustana University and holds accreditation from Solar Energy International, emphasizing his commitment to staying at the forefront of industry advancements.

His multifaceted experience and connections position Jake as a key player in steering Sandhills Energy toward continued success in the renewable energy landscape.
