Bio

Raki is an experienced renewable energy leader, having gotten his start in the industry over a decade ago. He has played a pivotal role in steering the advancement and success of the Sandhills Energy mission.

He began his career in energy consulting and emission reporting before becoming one of the earliest NABCEP Certified PV Installation Professionals in Iowa. As the founder of Blue Sky Solar, Raki helped to complete over 600 commercial and residential installations across multiple states in the Midwest.

Specializing in financial modeling and the design of solar and energy storage projects, Raki’s expertise led to the founding of Sandhills Energy through a significant merger.

Beyond his professional commitments, Raki serves as a board member on the Dubuque County Energy District, where they work toward a future run by 100% renewable energy.
