Sandhills Energy is seeking an experienced professional to lead our engineering and design initiatives as Director of Engineering. The successful candidate will oversee a diverse portfolio of projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to industry standards, contributing to permitting processes, mentoring team members, and managing project budgets through value engineering. The candidate will interface with established subcontracted Engineering partners while simultaneously building our internal engineering capacity. Proficiency in CAD software, a keen awareness of industry trends, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Goldenrod Solar is a 200 MW solar project developed by Sandhills Energy for a large renewable energy operator. In 2017, Sandhills developed a 1400-acre area for, New Madrid County, Missouri.

Valentine
Valentine Wind, LLC is a 1.85 MW wind turbine owned by Bluestem Energy Solutions. The project was developed for Cherry County Wind, the largest land cooperative in the United States.
