Understanding this, we created SE Ventures to invest in early stage companies with innovative ideas in energy and agriculture. Bringing capital, expertise, and industry partnerships, we accelerate the development of these early stage companies and projects.

CR Energy Concepts

In 2018, SE Ventures (SEV), a Sandhills Energy subsidiary made an investment in CR Energy Concepts (CREC), a Colorado company with plans to develop and deploy innovative Waste Resource Conversion technology. The SEV investment validated the facility design and Sandhills Energy began assisting development activities for CREC. CREC’s facilities will consume approximately 375 tons of waste and 110 tons of end of life tires per day to produce baseload renewable energy.  Sandhills has partnered with CREC and is assisting all development efforts with future projects.
